Development and Refurbishment


The Keel Group are able to advise on property development and refurbishment to achieve the highest values whilst considering costs, achievability and long-term use. 

We oversee the development process whilst maintaining a “helicopter” yet hands-on approach from start to finish.

The Keel Group will:

  • Arrange and oversee the pre-app process to obtain local planning feedback to incorporate into a wider scheme.

  • Appoint trusted quantity surveyors and project managers.
  • Attend site and contractor meetings.
  • Authorise payment requests.
  • Consider plan enhancement.
  • Tender review.
  • Review variations and alternative options instructing the “necessary” versus “optional” to provide cost saving options.

We oversee tenant alteration and improvement requests and arrange the refurbishment for single units, larger mixed-use buildings and common parts ensuring continuity of income with minimal disturbance and ensure the S20 process is complied with, in line with the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 as amended.
