About Josh

Josh is the Founding Director of The Keel Group with almost 20 years experience in the property sector across a range of asset classes. He has extensive expertise and has worked both nationally and within the London markets in corporate, private practice and private family offices.

Previous Positions

He has acted as Lead – Commercial Assets and latterly Group Surveyor over his last years of tenure on behalf of the Englander Federation, a privately owned multifamily office. Josh oversaw the nationwide commercial portfolio comprising retail, retail park, industrial and office units with a secondary duty to residential elements. He was heavily involved in the portfolio asset and investment management, restructure, allocation and refinance as well as it’s refurbishment and development.

Prior to this he held the position of Associate Director within the Valuation department at Lambert Smith Hampton situated on Oxford Street. He carried out loan security and development valuation work across a wide range of asset classes within the commercial and residential sectors. Josh has acted on behalf of major and secondary lenders with the highest single asset instruction of £100m. He was also the main valuer on behalf of HS2 as part of its discretionary scheme. 

Josh has also held positions at other general practice firms acting across a range of professional matters and has a proven track record in identifying and creating opportunities to enhance and protect values. He has a keen attention to detail and focus on property solutions to bring matters to conclusion.

Professional Volunteering

Josh is a RICS registered APC mentor (assessment of professional competence) assisting candidates through their training.

In addition, he is a Registered Mentor on behalf of the University of Westminster offering mentorship to students and other professionals looking to develop their career in property.

And for fun

In his spare time, he enjoys maintaining his extensive marine aquarium, cycling, going to the gym and most importantly spending time with his family.
